Evaluating existing inclusive technologies across the University of Southampton's student computers, looking at their availability and accessibility.

Bringing Inclusive Learning up to Date: Developing further guidance and strategies regarding the use of technologies by students with the need for assistive technologies.

The first phase of this project is a complete evaluation of existing inclusive technologies across the University in conjunction with Student Services.

A report will be presented to the SCF Advisory Group on completion of the evaluation, to inform a future bid in 2011/12.

The second phase of this project is based on work completed with students on Lexdis (Student strategies for the use of technology, in particular elearning and assistive technologies) and Web2Access (evaluating Web 2.0 services used for teaching and learning).

The Student Centredness project evaluations are taking place on Web 2.0 services, ebook readers etc. There will also be advice about the links to the guidance available to students and support for access to these sites.
